Lisi Lerch x Belle of the Ball

Hi everyone! I couldn't be more excited for today- my Lisi Lerch x Belle of the Ball collection is finally launching! Lisi Lerch has been one of my favorite accessory brands for years and I was honored to work with them to create a fall collection. It was so great working with the team at Lisi Lerch to bring my design ideas to life. Today the collection is finally available and I cannot wait to hear what you all think! I drew inspiration from one of my favorite flowers- the limelight hydrangea and my love for antique jewelry. Everything in the collection is so versatile and are pieces I find myself reaching for on a daily basis. I hope you all love the collection as much as I do! As you may know, I do not have my ears pierced so all of the earrings in the collection are available in both pierced and clip-on. I love that Lisi Lerch has so many clip-on options! Here is a little more behind the scenes from the collab as well as more details about each piece:

The Limelight

Lisi Lerch always makes the best statement earrings so I wanted to include something in the collection that makes a statement but is subtle enough for daily wear. During the fall I always love watching our limelight hydrangeas turn from a bright white to a sage green. The Limelight earring was inspired by my favorite hydrangeas.

The Belle

If you've followed me for a while, you might know that I don't have my ears pierced! One of the reasons I was originally drawn to Lisi Lerch was because of their wide array of clip-on earrings. I first started wearing clip-on's after I found an antique pair at a barn sale. These earrings were inspired by my favorite antique pair and are perfect for daily wear. They are so dainty and add a classic touch to any outfit.

The Carol

My mom has been my biggest supporter throughout my many years of blogging- I truly would not be where I am today without her help and encouragement. I am so thankful to have a mom like her and wanted to name this beautiful necklace after her. It's a simple necklace perfect for layering or as a stand alone piece. I love how the pearl detail ties the necklace into the rest of the collection.

The Scout & Bean Bracelets

I love having simple bracelets to stack with and wanted to create two bracelets to compliment the collection! Named after our family dogs Scout & Bean these bracelets are so versatile and can be worn with any outfit!

Thank you all so much for your support throughout the years! I hope you enjoy the collection.

Fall in J. McLaughlin

Hi everyone! When I received the J. McLaughlin fall catalog there were so many stunning pieces that I knew I needed to add to my fall wardrobe. J. McLaughlin always has beautiful collections full of stylish staples that will last a lifetime.

During my recent fall road trip I found myself reaching for my J.Mclauglin staples constantly- especially their new Arlette turtleneck. This turtleneck is adorable as a stand alone piece and is also perfect for layering. It comes in so many colors too!

Sharing a few of my favorite fall looks in today's post, enjoy!

I'm always looking for outfits that are comfortable for travel without looking sloppy, and I absolutely love this head to toe look from J. McLaughlin. This black activewear set has quickly become a staple for me. It is so well made- I even hiked to the Madison Spring hut in these leggings! I love how many pockets the set has too so I can always make sure I have my essentials on me.

I used to think that being 5'2 I was too short for a midi skirt to be flattering, but then I found some adorable silk options that have become some of my favorite skirts in my wardrobe. This floral print from J. McLaughlin has an amazing color way and can be worn so many ways. While we walked around Beacon Hill in Boston, I opted for a more casual look pairing the skirt with suede sneakers and a neutral top. It can easily be dressed up with some heels for dinner too which is great.

As some of you may know, I am in currently working on my masters in teaching and hope to be getting a full time teaching job next year. Since I started school, I've been working on adding some more work appropriate things into my wardrobe that can also be incorporated for daily wear. I love this leopard cardigan and simple flats and think they would be great pieces when I begin in the classroom.
