New England Road Trip: Boston, MA

Hi everyone! If you follow me on Instagram I shared all of the stops on our New England fall road trip last week. The trip was such a dream and I'm sharing all of the details in the next few blog posts. Today's post is recapping our first stop- Boston, MA!

We arrived to Boston just in time for a Red Sox game! It was my boyfriends first time at Fenway and he absolutely loved it. It's one of my favorite stadiums and it was a beautiful day for a game. After the game we met up with one of my friends for a drink at Cisco in Seaport. Cisco is such a fun spot with great drinks and live music. Seaport is also a great area with lots of amazing stores and restaurants. For dinner we walked to the North End which is adorable.

What I wore to the game:

We slept in on Monday and then headed to explore Beacon Hill. Beacon Hill is my favorite area in Boston and beyond beautiful in the fall. Acorn Street is so picturesque and one of the most photographed streets in the city! The homes date back to the late 1700's and early 1800's. Another one of my favorite spots is Rouvalis Flowers & Gardens. It is such a magical place full of so many gorgeous blooms and plants. After exploring we worked up an appetite so we grabbed lunch at Tatte. I absolutely love Tatte and always stop when I'm in Boston. We both got B.L.A.T's that were to die for!

What I Wore in Beacon Hill:

If you've seen 'This Is a Robbery: The World's Biggest Art Heist' on Netflix, you probably know about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. I have always wanted to go and was so glad we had time on our trip! It was absolutely incredible with the most gorgeous courtyard and famous art sprawled throughout the museum. Each room was impeccable! After the museum we went back to our Air B&B to get ready for dinner.

My friend Maris was so sweet and got us a reservation at Nautilus. Everything on the menu was divine and we loved that the menu included a lot of small plates so we could try a little of everything. I am still dreaming about this dinner! Our favorites were the Japanese Street Corn, Steamed Pork Buns, Crispy Marinated Calamari, and Oyster Tacos. The cocktails were amazing too- we can't wait to go back!

The following afternoon we were heading to Maine, but made a few final stops before heading out. There was a Tatte right near our B&B so we stopped for a quick breakfast before heading to The Paul Revere House. My boyfriend loves history so this was such a fun (and very affordable) experience! This would be so great to do with kids as well. After touring The Paul Revere House we were ready for our next stop: Boothbay Harbor, Maine!
