It's almost the Fourth of July! The Fourth has been my favorite holiday since I was a little girl. My family always has a huge party at the lake and has the best time. Because of COVID this year is looking a little different and we're having a smaller gathering at our cottage. In today's post, I'm sharing a few easy, yet delicious recipes that are perfect for a last-minute party.
Have the best Fourth of July!
A charcuterie board is a party must-have! I added a patriotic touch with a star cutout and some fresh berries for garnish. Don't forget to leave out some toothpicks and plates to make it safe for everyone! Here's how I go about making a cheese board:
Start with a few varieties of cheese
Add a few different types of meat and crackers
Use things like herbs and berries for garnish
You can always expand on this with things like nuts, jam, etc. I find these to be the most basic elements of a charcuterie!
These Caprese skewers are delicious and so easy to make! Here's what you'll need
Grape Tomatoes
Fresh Mozzarella
Basil Leaves
Balsamic Vinaigrette drizzle
Bamboo Skewers
A safer way to serve Rice Crispie Treats! I just cut paper straws in half to make Rice Crispie pops!
